Geometry is, for most students, their first introduction to formal proofs, their first exposure to 3-dimensional structures, and their first use of algebraic ratios to solve problems in multi-figure situations. It's a lot to chew at once for students just entering high school, but the skills you learn here will be with you for the rest of your mathematical career, and the skills in proof that you develop will be critical not only for if you continue with college-level math, but for critical thinking and essay writing in later courses. This course aims to tame the chaos of proof writing, and make three dimensional structures less intimidating, all while teaching the beauties of rigorous mathematical thinking!
